Control

Behavior

Have control over individual students
For some students who may not respond positively to the classroom plan and behavior support plans, teachers must become more systematic in interventions.
Give Specific Directions

Tell your students exactly what to do by avoiding vague commands such as, “Pay Attention”. Instead say, “Put your pen down and eyes on me.”

Circulate the Room

Move around the classroom instead of staying in one spot, and remain facing towards as much of the class as possible. Stand close to students that may not be paying attention.
