Class Quality Resources
In the real world, questions rarely isolate a skill precisely. To prepare students for that, try responding to the students’ mastery of one skill by asking students to integrate the skill with other or asking them to apply it in a new or more challenging situation.
This helps to check up on students’ thinking and apply their knowledge in new ways. Actually applying and using skills is one of the best ways to reinforce skills so that students retain the information that they have learned in class.
